I recently asked for a copy of my records, just so I would have them for my own knowledge. Well now I'm worried.


In a nutshell, my CT scan from 6/2/08 states I have 4 small noncalcified nodules in my lungs (2 in the left and 2 in the right).


The report suggested that this be further investigated with a PET scan. That was done and here is what it says....


There is no evidence of any increased uptake in the lungs. However, since the nodules seen on the CT scan are less than 1 cm in diameter, the lack of significant uptake on this exam cannot rule out metastatic disease.


HELLO?! They don't know? Are you kidding me?! How am I suppose to rest easy not knowing whether there is more cancer in me or not?!
