Avastin was the drug that was a part of my clinical trial. I received it in combination with other drugs while my tumor was present, so there is no way for me to know which drug or drugs worked, but I have stage 4 friends who their only option is Avastin and it is working for them. If they take it away there is no Plan B. I can't imagine having my lifeline threatened.
