Well I went to see my oncologist this morning and had another freaking rectal exam (2 in 2 days--ICK). He believes the bleeding is due to the Avastin, so I won't be getting my last treatment that was scheduled for next week. He said it isn't worth the risk of causing bigger problems and more bleeding. I have had LOTS of chemo (15 months worth), so he feels one more won't make or break me.
If the bleeding is due to the Avastin it will resolve on its own, but he feels I should probably have a colonoscopy to be sure, so now I wait to see what my surgeon says on Tuesday.
What a week!
